Neil, the way I would approach this is by creating my own app to interface with the site. I would then collect and validate all of the information in my app and then use BWS to input the data to the site.
Hope this helps, Billy -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Neil Hans Sent: Tuesday, August 14, 2007 10:36 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Talk] Can BWS be used to validate data entry? I assume the answer is yes. We have a clinical web-based application from a software vendor where users enter clinical data (blood pressure, temperature, etc). Unfortunately, the clinical application doesn't have the capability to validate the data the user enters. For example, they may enter 83d for diastolic pressure--they should just enter 83 into the field. How would BWS know what fields to validate among the many fields? By pixel/position? Thanks.
