Hi, Jo. I think I can answer one of your questions. You are correct when you mention that you hear alert, document being processed, and that it just sits there. You have to tab to the start document button or whatever it is called and press it. P d f documents don't start reading automatically. I hope others will be able to answer your questions.

I'm really frustrated with pdf documents. I use WE 9, Windows 7 64-bit on a laptop, have Adobe Reader xi and I'm not sure of the correct settings for reading without sight. I've tried using the setup assistant which helps some but I also realize that scanned documents won't read at all. Do I need Acrobat.com or not and how might I convert a document or newsletter into a Word document for Office 2010? Adobe Reader often says, "Alert, document being processed!" And never does anything but sit there! I don't know if there are helpful apps for this or something else but I should be able to at least read the text even with some images in the document, right? I mean, if it's not a scanned document. I thank you for help from snowy MN, Jo Taliaferro _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
