Hi Jim,
Here is a weird way to accomplish what you want to do.

In the Window-eyes control panel, select dictionaries/key label. Tab to the
capture key button. Press ENTER, then press WINDOWS-M. Tab to the
replacement edit box and type desktop. Tab to the update entry button and
press space.
Finally press control-s to save your setting.

Note: when pressing Windows-m you'll hear desktop with no M. You'll also hear
the word desktop after the selected icon.
The first desktop is your key label and the second is the word desktop
generated by Window-eyes.
You could do the same for WINDOWS-D and not hear the second desktop as
Window-eyes doesn't announce desktop when pressing Windows-d.

Subject: WE 9.1 text echoed when jumping to the desktop

My system win7 home premium 64 bit ms office 2003 and we 9.1
With the installation of we 9.1 when I windows key M to jump to the
desktop we echoes the letter M then the desktop icon and finally says
desktop.
I would prefer desktop followed by the icon it lands on and don't need
to hear the letter M.
Please tell me how to achieve this.
Thanks
Jim
