I can't speak for everyone else, but in my case, it never stopped working
for me. So, as the old saying goes, "if ainte broke, don't fix it"

Yep I'm still not sure why everyone has such trouble with the standard
google. I do have to admit that when they changed the search box from an
edit box to a combo box i was a bit confused for a second, but it was the
only place to type in the search so I figured that had to be the right
thing, so it works just fine for me. All there are are links and a search
box that looks like a combo box. It's really not all that
bad.

I use it all the time. Sometime I get the error but if I try it again
it works.
