When you have it set to file details, you should be able use the right arrow 
key  to see the date modified, file type and size.

I checked details, but it doesn't change, but what it gave me was a list of 
something like two hundered and something items to check in details.  I want to 
hear what size the files are, and what file type.  Pam.
