Hello, Rick. Here's how to turn off spoken punctuation. Open the Window-eyes control panel with ctrl-backslash. Find the screen node and expand it with the right arrow key. Arrow down to punctuation and tab once it is highlighted. You'll come across various items such as math global and various choices of items like off, dictionary only or just the word on. I have all items set to off. That way, I only hear every character as I type. So, I don't hear every dash, plus, dollar sign or any other punctuation for that matter unless I press one of the punctuation keys, smile. I hope this helps. Incidentally, just to make sure I'd explain things as best as I could, I followed the steps myself because once I set things the way I like them in Window-eyes, I tend to forget them. .

I would think it is in the verbosity settings, but I just can't seem to find it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, rick _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
