Also if this is the office version, make sure you are using Microsoft speech 
platform or eSpeak as the synthesizers.

You can also  use SAPI.

If you are using Eloquence or Vocalizer Expressive and have not purchased them 
Window-eyes will be a demo.

Indeed, as it was said by somebody else here, in WE, under diagnostics, there's 
an item for Office and if you expand the submenu, there should be an item that 
says something about your office license...  Run it, and it should help 
recognise the valid Office installation.
