Larry. I am unable to answer your question concerning why Windows 10 users now hear three descending tones when shutting down their computers. Chris Grabowski has explained this issue over the phone to me, however, that doesn't mean I remember his explanation. Chris, a memory refresh would be great! The answer to your question of what can be done to fix the issue is nothing, well, not yet, anyway. I am used to the ascending beeps and boops by now, whether I like them or not.

I am getting three descending beeps (beep, bop, boot), when I go to shut down my computer. As I was given to understand when these beeps were ascending, it might have had something to do with the video card. At that time, I was also having issues with WE accessing and making use of my apps, and went through the drastic step of a system restore. Now since I only upgraded last Saturday afternoon, I don't think that it would benefit me much to do that, because If I did, I might end up with a pre Windows 10 environment, or would I? I suppose that if this is really nothing to be concerned about, especially if it happens on exit, then I wont, but it is a bit disconcerting to hear these kind of things just popping up for no known or logical reason. Any help in solving this little puzzle will be greatly appreciated, Larry _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
