I for one am rather liking Windows 10, although going from VIsta right to 10 is quite a change LOL. I notice it doesn't appear to have its own unzipping utility the way previous versions of Windows did.

If I just press alt-2 while situated in any folder, the new folder edit
box appears.

Hey Dave,

I have no idea on Gold Wave. But to create a new folder in Windows Explorer you can either hit the Alt key to focus the ribbon followed by the number 2 to create a new folder, or, hit the Window-Eyes bypass hot key Insert-B followed by Control-Shift-N. You'll come into an edit box with the field name of New Folder and the text "New folder" already inserted as the file name. Just delete it and enter the name you actually want. Then hit Enter.

Tom

Hello,

So far I like Windows 10 alright. And WE 9.4 is running like a Champ.

I am having a difficult time getting Gold Wave to record from the Sound
card. Does anyone know if there is a Trick to get Gold Wave to work
with Win 10? Or do I have some other problem?

And last, I want to create New Folders on the C: Drive.

I usually make several folders where I either store items, or I store
Temporary work. but, no where can I figure how to create these extra
folders where I wish to store various kinds of files.

I know this seems simple, but often it is the simple things that trip me
up.

Anyone have a solution for one or the other of these questions?

Thanks,

Grumpy Dave
