first thing. make a complete windows 7 system backup. incase the upgrade fails. when you go from win 7 to win 10 anaversory i think you will still have to uninstall window eyes because win 10 uses different display technology you would need a full version of window eyes 9.2 or higher before you start. older versions will not work.
upgrade disks will not work. they would run as a demo if they install at all.
make sure you have a internet connection. sometimes it will not find a sound card driver. but if you have some u s b speakers or a u s b head set it should work.
it should go to the desktop in about 1 hour after you start the installation.
when it does press windows and enter to turn narrator on or off . then you will have some speech to start the window eyes installation.

Hello Chris,

In addition to reporting the success, or not, of this method, could you also
let us know if the entire process of upgrade in a Windows 7 Pro environment
to the Anniversary Edition of Windows 10 Pro can be done with Window-Eyes
alone? That is, there is no need to run any other screen reader in order to
complete the process.

I note also on this list that others seem to have used this process with
success; maybe they may be able to answer my question.

?

Using this link, my tablet is in the first reboot. I didn't have any
display error issues.
I downloaded the media creation utility that is 17mb.

I won't be truly happy until it is complete but didn't have any issues up
until the first reboot.
To Be Continued...
Chris

as i have said. this creation tool is not the same version that everyone
else
is trying to use.
it installed the anaversory version without haveing to uninstall anything.
this person got it to work too. so i am not the only one.

NetBat,

The media creation tool worked. As I'm writing this, windows 10
anniversary addition is being installed. Thanks for the tip!

I used the media creation tool when I first installed windows 10, but I
didn't scroll down far enough on the Microsoft page to see this tool
when I tried this upgrade.
