Hi there!
While I don't necessarily disagree, I did talk to someone at VFO and
he told me that the SMAs are still being sold and no they have no real
time table, but the product is still being created and supported. Now
why we have heard nothing from them is a damned good question<SMILE!>.
All I am saying is just what I was told. Perhaps if all the folks that
are concerned about the future of Window-Eyes started calling them and
voicing their concerns as well as asking questions, we might all have
more answers! Just a suggestion..! Thanks And Have A Great Day! de

If you like Window-eyes, and if it does what you require as a tool of your job,
certainly by the latest release, but hold off on the SMA. Remember: the SMA is
giving someone your money ahead of them supplying the goods. There is no
guarantee as to when or if those future goods will be supplied.
I think you do need a range of opinions on this topic, and mine is to be very
cautious about committing to an agreement.
Vaughan.

Subject: Questions re WE
Hello all,
I am back after an extended absence from this list. Sorry to come back with a
bang but I need some answers.
At work I am trying to get my employer to upgrade me to the latest version.
That's not really the issue right now. The SMA is the issue though and I need
some answers before I press them for that one.
What is the status of Window-Eyes? If it were to go away, what is the plan for
those of us who use it? Is it even worth getting an SMA right now?
Answers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
