Peter: as one of those well educated, intelligent people - I actually do resent this sweeping generalisation.
Some of us did actually draw the correct conclusions based on evidence through VFO press releases, lack of official comment and so forth. Others wanted somehting more definite than circumstantial stuff. Unlike many on the list - some of us took steps to get official news. VFO clearly had to come to a solution to a range of issues affecting the viability of Window-eyes. The offer which many of us have already taken up will have details behind it which ordinary people llike you and I will never know. The list is a means whereby people exercise freedom of expression, but it is genuinely unhelpful to be smug. And even without digging too far, those who were less certain than you and I still had opinions based on what they believed to be so. Please do not start this sort of thread again? People have quickly moved on.
