I know exactly what you are saying Brenda because I am missing this
feature as well.
In one of Raul's mp3 tutorials on making the switch, the desktop icons
read out their index number as he arrows around the screen. e.g. 15 of 26.
Has anyone been able to duplicate this and if so, how did you do it?

At least jaws reads how many unread messages in a folder, but I could
have lots and lots of messages in my inbox and have no way to know it
with jaws.
Also, with Jaws is there a way to find out "message 10 of 125" etc to
know where you are in the message list?
