Hi Dave,
I think you are correct about the home and tandum selections for your
situation. the VFO web page will also tell you how to check if your pc
is a 32 or 64 byte/bit machine as you will want to download that version
of jaws.
I kept W-e running until after the UAC box came up. Once I knew jaws
was downloading I turned W-e off. It took a long, long time for
everything to download so don't panic and for your comfort, if possible
have a sighted person around to help you keep an eye on things.
Once jaws is downloaded there is a way to go in and put your license or
code or whatever in. Jaws will be running so you won't need (or even be
able to use w-e) to do this.
I also waited until I could talk with vfo tech support. They stayed on
the line with me to get things started.
I am still using w-e as jaws is not very intuitive to me. My brain
processes/thinks in Window-eyes and it has been a challenge to do things
with jaws keystrokes.
Hopefully someone else will reply to your post to confirm my comments.

home since I only have a home computer and do email, things on the web and
use Microsoft word. If I understand I should go tandem that way I can give
FO access to my computer if I run into problems.
Any help for the behind the times user would be greatly appreciated. Please
also keep your fingers crossed I do not throw the computer out the window if
things go haywire.
