after the crisismapping discussion yesterday, what think ye of at the very
least compiling existing sources (as in the OAM wiki) but with a bit more
structure as well as with resolution, license, date of capture, formats
available, etc? Something like the following:

We could even measure performance (latency) and so forth to determine
whether putting up a proxy in front of the official source would be a good
idea.

Also, here's the link to the 1999 survey of existing sources graphed by
temporal vs spatial resolution which I mentioned at the meeting:

That also has a table indicating minimum temporal, spatial, and spectral
resolutions suitable for identifying a variety of data, from road widths to
quality of life indicators, to post-emergency damage.
