What are peoples' thoughts on medical facilities that can't really be
represented as either hospitals or pharmacies? For example small clinics
for minor surgery, doctors (UK: General Practitioners' surgeries) and
dentists? There are a few proposals out there already (still):

 - AFAICT, all those votes are merely opinions :/

 - I like this one. Healthcare provision in the UK can be rather...
   distributed.

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Proposed_features/GP_Surgery

 - "work in progress" since a very long time ago

 - It'd be nice if there were an actual tagging proposal here

 - medical=doctor and medical=dentist would be my first suggestion; I
might warm this one up myself. However, I'd accept amenity={doctor,
   dentist} too.

amenity=pharmacy, dispensing={yes|no}, amenity=hospital, and
emergency={yes|no} were accepted ages ago, so at the very least I'll
tidy up this area of the Wiki tonight. Should I pull in any other pages?

(What sort of tags should we use for land belonging to, say, the NHS and
within the bounds of a hospital proper which doesn't have wards or
clinics on it? For example, there's everything from supply sheds serving
the hospital to nurses' accommodation, playing fields and gardens on one
of the sites 'round here.)
