I was surprised when driving the recently upgraded A130 from the A12 towards Southend that the road had signs specifying no bicycles, pedestrians or horses (I think they were) at the A12 end (particularly the bicycle one - I presume there must be an alternative route). I'm not sure where the signs are at the other end, or I'd check the way(s) were appropriately tagged.
