Yes. But I'm still not sure whether the Java program I've written/modified is a good basis. I mean I just had to do it some way, for the thesis, but I also have using frameworks/libraries like osmium in mind. It could be an osmosis plugin as well. I haven't had enough time to investigate that, though...
