Hi Alex, I've bought imagery previously for Padang from a DigitalGlobe reseller. It was delivered as a GeoTiff. I then used gdal2tiles.py to tile it to be used in JOSM.
You may want to recheck the areas you are interested, Bing appears to have updated quite a bit of imagery in Indonesia recently.
