I very much like the island labels - this would be great to have in the standard map (at the moment i think islands are not labeled there until z=12 which is kind of pointless for any but the smallest islands - especially in polar regions). And of course it well points out missing names (and in this case missing french names). I guess the lack of labels in the north of http://tile.openstreetmap.fr/?zoom=6&lat=-56.31392&lon=-34.0843&layers=0000B0FFF is due to incomplete rendering.
