but this introduces a lot of complexity, especially in the case of MPs with
many outer members, when you only want to modify the tags of a single one
of these (outer) ways. Many editors (e.g. on smartphones) will not even
notify you that the way is part of a relation.

do you also include "name" in this list?

all tags, or only "the relevant" ones? And if yes, which ones aren't
relevant?
And also here there might be cases where e.g. inside a forest you will want
to have another forest because of some properties they don't share (be it
name but also note etc.)
