Yes, a lot of data that definitely was there seems to be missing. Another example is by Andreas in Vienna: http://osmz.ru/osm2006.html#14/48.1982/16.2975 http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Vienna-2006-07-04.png This probably comes from errors in either API 0.3 to 0.6 coversion, or in cutting out american data.
