It's not helped when some people in the UK seem to think the whole country limit is 50MPH rather than just a few counties. Driving at 45MPH in a queue of cars held up by one slow one down miles of 60PMH road that are safe to do that speed on but no where safe to overtake makes something of a mockery of even posted speed limits.
