I've just visited Alexa free stats on OSM website and here are some
interesting facts:
- Current Global Rank for OSM: 6988 (down 833)
- Most visitors come from USA, Germany, China, UK and France (in both
USA and China rank number is lower than global average, but probably
much more people live there, hence #1 and #3...)
- In the last year percent of visitors coming from the search engines
increased from ~20% to ~30%
- Most of the people were visiting Google, Yandex and Wikipedia sites
immediately before
- 4/5 most popular keywords of searching visitors are related to OSM
(fun fact: "bing maps" is #2...)
- Comparing to average "Internet population" there are much more males
and less females
