Thank you to all who in one way or another helped and supported this wonderful cause. We are trying to help reduce the malnutrition in Argentina and we are working on it.
Last Saturday in Carmel, we have had an incredible benefit milonga with a lot of support from tangueros/as who came from far away to join us in these efforts. Garufa Tango Trio donated their time and played two incredible sets of live music. We have collected approximately $1,500 which we will use to buy vitamins and nonperishable food for children in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. A group of us will personally purchase and deliver these goods. With these funds 30 children in Argentina can be fed for almost two months.
