It is October 1818. Hipolito De Bouchard, guapo and macho from South
America, representing the revolutionaries of the La Plata RIver, sails his

ships to the Monterey Bay. He has harassed Spanish merchant ships and raids
the coast of Spanish Alta California.
Saiing into Monterey Bay, near dard, the pirates, headed by Hipolito,
attack and ransack the presidio of Monterey, taking everything they can
carry, leaving behind burned houses and ranches and californian ladies with
love promises...... Viva la Revolucion!!!
Come dressed as pirate, spaniard, gipsy, indian, priest, nobleman,
rancher,
porten~o o arrabalero.
Come To Tango and feast!!!
