Denver Memorial Day Festival May 21 - 26, 2003
Please note that the airlines are doing a sale this week: - Chicago: $200 - San Francisco: $250 - New York: $300 In order to keep prices low for everyone, I will still respect the early-bird pricing for the Memorial Day Tango Festival in Denver: - $59 - 109 for a dance pass - $129 - $179 for a full festival pass Early-registration for Julio & Corina is closed, and there are only a very few slots still available, contact Nina at [email protected] Minor changes will be made in the final schedule, so be sure to print a final copy just before coming: http://www.tango.org/dance/MemDay2003.html Demographics: * At this point I estimate around 200 people will attend. This is big enough for lots of excitement, small enough to find partners. Ann Arbor, Memphis and Washington, DC, are sending big groups. * Gender ratio is 45/55, slightly skewed to the women...Guys tend to sign up late, so this should improve, but PLEASE make an effort to gender balance the the group coming from your city. * The level this year is the highest ever. 40% have more than 4 years of tango experience, 60% more than 3 years, and a high percentage have visited Buenos Aires. Dates for the LABOR Day festival will be: Aug 27 - 31...stay tuned. -- Tom Stermitz http://www.tango.org/ [email protected] 303-388-2560
