Tango Week is here! Classes begin Friday morning. This year Nito &
Elba are back by popular demand along with the stellar faculty we have
arranged for you: Los Dinzel, Miriam Larici & Hugo Patyn, Graciela
Gonzales, Pedro " El Indio" Benavente, Ricardo "El Pibe Sarandi" Maceiras &
Elina Roldan, Nora Dinzelbacher & Ed Neale, and of course, Nito & Elba
As usual a variety of tango shoes, dresses and accessories will be
available from the vendors in the lobby this year.
All milongas are open to the public but attendance is limited and some
evenings will sell out. Sunday, July 4th is already sold out so you must
already have a ticket to get in that night. There is usually no problem
buying a ticket at the door on the other nights, cash only at the door
please. The exception will be Friday, July 9th, which will probably sell
out. Please buy a ticket in advance for this night if you are planning to
attend.
On Friday, July 2nd we will have a special treat. Daniel Binelli and
Polly Ferman of Extreme Tango will perform during the Milonga de Miriam &
Hugo. Then, later in the week on an evening to be announced, Daniela &
Armando will make a special appearance and perform for us.

The San Francisco Bay area is fortunate for the many great tango teachers
it hosts during the year. Still, it is unusual to have so many of them
gathered together in one place. This will be a very special night of tango.
