Yeah.  (Your English is much better than my Indonesian ;))  Basically
they run
Win98 - and from what I hear they are full of viruses / spyware etc.





Before you do anything to their computers, you should find out their uses of the computers, for example:


- what are their activities with those computers,
- the programs they usually use,
- computer support (to fix problems) that available around (do they familiar with linux?),
- peripherals that they're using,
- etc.


You might need to consider things like:
- that some offices are using programs that only works on win98 like what I have here at my workplace (finance program),
- future update/upgrade (both hardware and software), who's going to help?,
- training,
- etc.


Brainstorming:
If viruses and spyware are the only concerns, then probably there're better ways to minimise the problems. For example: computers can only install programs that to be used, limitting floppy and cdrom access, Internet if available browsing only (no download), ways to prevent mail problems, etc.
