I'm concerned about this issue getting lost in the trash. Can anyone
answer my comment?
Basically the exception thrown in the Exception page is not for an
error, but rather for a redirect, a perfectly good choice for error pages.

This is not the Exception page failing, it's redirecting to another page. Are
you telling me we should write a whole service just because Tapestry can't have
a catch() ?
Isn't it reasonable for an exception page to send a redirection ?
