Summary: Make page-spec and comp-spec distinct

Initial Comment:
Using a single <specification> element in the DTD for
both pages and components its a bit off, since pages
can't contain parameters.

Should have two top-level elemements: <component-
specification> and <page-specification>.

Further to my last, it would be preferable in spindle to leave it
with the two current spec objects.

But one could add an isPage method to
ComponentSpecification.

That would allow me to hide things in the editor for pages that
don't make sense (parameters?)

Does this mean that there will be three spec objects now?

ApplicationSpecification
ComponentSpecification
PageSpecification

Maybe you should consider making them two separate DTDs as
they live in separate files?
