The new bug fix release for Tapestry is up on SourceForge. Note the new
release numbering (this was going to be 2.0.6).

[ 574792 ] localized strings don't work
[ 573860 ] Shell component hardcodes DTD
[ 573858 ] No way to remove PageDetachListener
[ 573753 ] client TCP reset causes SocketException
[ 573653 ] broken assets
[ 574181 ] ValidationDelegate should eval form name
[ 575228 ] Validation messages not localized

I'm working out a few more issues related to localization (for non-latin
based languages). Depending on how hairy those changes are, the next
release will be beta-3 or rc-1 (if the changes are minor). Thanks to
everyone who'se been finding bugs, especially those of you who have even
provided fixes!

I've also done some improvements to the documentation content and L&F ...
check it out and provide some feedback.

Did you know that Tapestry Developer's Guide, when printed out, is 94 pages
long?

My plan is to just announce minor releases on TheServerSide and JavaLobby.

Anybody know why Eliotte Harrold (of Cafe Au Lait) will annouce any old
framework's 0.0.1 release, but won't mention Tapestry, even when I drop him
a polite request?

Howard
