There are two reasons I haven't done this. 1) PropertyHelper has a method for querying an object for its properties. I use this in the property explorer of the Inspector. OGNL doesn't have this, but Drew said he'd look into adding it (a month or so ago).
2) I use a lot of "patches" to ordinary property access. I believe OGNL already makes Map keys look like proeprties, but I have things like ListenerMap that makes listener methods look like properties (this allowing listeners.method bindings). I need to figure out how to accomplish this under OGNL ... Drew says its possible, but the doc didn't give it to me in under five minutes. I'd like to see your patch. I would love to get this into 2.2, even if means delaying the imminent beta (as long as it stays backwards compatible). -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://tapestry.sf.net > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > > Note about expression languages: It is possible to integrate > > > a rich expression language like ognl (http://www.ognl.org) > > > into Tapestry, does it make sense? > > > > I've looked at OGNL as a replacement for > > PropertyHelper.
