Yes, the idea of Tapestry Lite is to allow "shortcuts" that allow new adopters to get productive with Tapestry faster.  You'll be able to mix and match to your heart's content.  As you hit the limits of Tapestry Lite, there'll be a clean transition to Tapestry Pro? Full? Classic?
