Hi, I'm making the move from Web Objects to Tapestry. One downfall I see of Tapestry is the lack of great tools to use it.
I'd love to see some great open source tools being developed. I've found an open source project called "EKit" ( http://www.hexidec.com/ekit.php ) that perhaps could be vamped up for Tapestry. In WebObjects, you have a Web Objects Builder that will among other things, generate the .wod file for you, which is the same idea of the .page file in Tapestry. Anyone no what I'm sayin??
