No, they changed both the protocol and the client APIs in the latest
RServe, so you would have to downgrade your RServe server. I do
believe that RServe 0.4 should work with the newest R, though.

Our developer Ian has looked into if it was possible to update our
part of the code, which it seemed like, but because of the API changes
this was non-trivial without loosing support for the older RServe
installations. Perhaps Ian has more details?
