Hello, The best suggestion I can make is to download 2.1 from http://www.taverna.org.uk/download/taverna-2-1/ and try with that version. We have fixed lots of issues with the provenance layer for the 2.1 release. If you still have problems after that then we can look further. I guess if this is a tutorial workflow then we can have a look anyway but I still recommend that you download the latest release.
