Hi!

myGrid has abandoned maintenance of the Feta service registry, instead
we've released a web site called BioCatalogue [1]

This is a curated registry of web services in life science, where
users can contribute new services, descriptions, corrections and
examples in a wiki-like manner. Service providers are encouraged to
add descriptions of their services. We are also adding service
testing, so that you can get an indication of the reliability of the
service over time.

All the services that were curated into the Feta registry have been
imported into BioCatalogue.

We have a student, Sergejs Aleksejevs, who is developing a Taverna
plugin that links in BioCatalogue and will allow you to browse and
find services to add them directly to your workflow, and potentially
also find BioCatalogue annotations on services already in the
workflow.

I'm not sure what is the timescale for releasing this exciting plugin,
but I believe it is set for this spring.
