Hello,

That is correct - the alpha-version of the BioCatalogue plugin will be 
released very soon. It is intended to demonstrate the capabilities of 
the plugin and its potential for its further extension and enhancement. 
I hope the release will attract attention and will encourage users to 
provide feedback - which will help to develop a more advanced and 
feature-rich version later in the year.

I will make a proper announcement about the release on this mailing list 
shortly.
