Yes, but I also have corresponding entries for Eudora, Outlook
Express, and Hotmail (?!). What would determine which one is used?

But none of my versions of MAPI32.DLL are the same size as
MAPIStub.dll....

I don't get any ding. Maybe this is an NT thing?

Yes! At least I have one answer. I had "This account is the default
for 'mailto:' URLs" checked for my main account. I unchecked it, and
now I am prompted.

Interesting. The Eudora MAPI FAQ says that this is a shortcut to
Exchange. On my system, it doesn't look like a shortcut at all, and
it's identified as a "MAPIMail File"--HexEdit shows it to be an empty
file 8-~. Sure enough, though, I am able
to change the name to whatever I want.
If anyone can explain this to me, I'd appreciate it.
This does appear to be an NT/98 difference.

Ah...found it. It also works.

Thanks. I'll check it out.
Thanks a lot for the very helpful reply!
