My suggested solution:
Add a user-defined mail header to sent mail containing all the
addresses from <list> f.ex. you may use X-TB-To-List

That means you have a mail:
To: <listcustomers>
X-TB-To-List: b...@blubb.com, e...@example.org, test...@example.com, 
o...@bow.loc

If the list "listcustomers" is lost in addressbook, The Bat! may use
the content of X-TB-To-List in To: mail field.
