I agree.... another feature that doesn't work properly (yet) and isn't needed? ... addressing could do with a complete overhaul ... LDAP could do with fixing ... Scheduler is rather rough & ready ... HTML message editing still has problems ... IMAP is getting better - but still not as good as Thunderbird ... visuals need improvement (almost all other mail client are better) ... watches / virtual folder, common/virtual folders and now chat, all need to be clearly documented as to what / why they are used / present Features which are probably never used / need rationalising:- -- Submission forms -- Address Autoview (great potential though) -- Memo view (again - good potential) -- MAPI based Exchange connectivity (Exchange supports both POP and IMAP - why use MAPI????) -- Smartbat? -- Horizontal split mode -- 3 different editors - one should do -- 2 different UI for filtering message (Sorting office vs filters) -- plethora of folder technologies. Normal, reserved, virtual common, virtual & common, chat (and any combination?). Why do users even need to know about terms? -- last be not least.. some documentation of the product!!!! TB! is NOT the "natural email client" any more. Its over complex and suffered from a massive "unplanned" feature growth. Sorry about the rant. Please can the next beta series concentrate on simplification, rationalisation and bug fixes.
