That is there are people I regularly use PGP with an some that I cannot use it at all (T-Online users). Most folks most of the time have open contact with me. Currently I've set up various QTs for different kinds of contacts, mainly I distinguish between business and private contacts and English and German ones. T-Online users got their own QTs with the %NOUSEPGP macro. When I today decided I want to have all my mail with one specific contact encrypted I found that I'd have to create a new QT for that. Not a big deal, but not optimal - this way QTs abound. Then I got the idea how easy it would be to just check PGP-signing or PGP-encrypting within an AB entry. This could always be overridden in the message editor through the Privacy menu. Most people may only need these options and the Privacy menu, but I can still imagine some more flexibility with the macros for much more experienced users. Lets see what others think and what my own contemplation will bring about in the next hours/days. I won't put it into the BT before tomorrow, in case it transpires that my idea is not that good. -- Dierk Haasis :Dierk: Copy 'n' Concept The Bat 3.0.2.1 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 Chat info for ICQ, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber upon request Strogatz's First Law of Doing Math: When you're trying to prove something, it helps to know it's true.
