If one hovers on the blank space, one gets "New Watch Replies in," as a side-menu, and if one clicks on that--for me--up comes "Create a new chat folder." So, it's basically a puzzling cosmetic effect--the function is still there. Well, I guess that one creates a "Chat" folder to "Watch Replies In." I have never used these features, myself, but Miguel A. Urech--who said he was going to be away for a few days, in a post earlier this week--needs "Watch Replies" to function for his work.
