Hi Ritlabs, Here some interesting feedback from new users (that acutally stopped using The Bat after a while):
When entering an address in the TO-Field, autocomplete puts the full name and address after just typing the first few letters. This is fine and the same as in other programs. BUT: Users are apparently used to hitting Enter and then being able to directly continue writing for entering the next recipient. This does not work in The Bat! After hitting Enter, the auto-completed part of the address stays selected, and if you just continue typing you will overwrite it. In The Bat, instead of hitting enter, you have to hit the End key followed by a comma, in order to take the auto-suggested address and continue entering the next one. Most people on this list will find this perfectly normal, since they are used to it, just like me. But apparently for new users this is not intuitive at all. In this case Ritlabs should have Enter behave exactly as it does in Outlook, as the current function of Enter in this case is no use at all: When confirming the auto-suggested part by hitting enter noone needs it to be still selected. You just confirmed it, so why would you overwrite it again. -- Best regards, Carsten ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 4.1.11.8 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
