Not only postings with a wrong (not subscribed) "from" address will
get the message, but also postings with a wrong "reply-to" address.
And in the latter case, the message is sent to be sent to the list, as
that is the "reply-to" address of the (attempted) posting.

The answer to your question was in your mail:
