Can't explain it. TB only sends messages that it finds in the outbox.
Once it has left the outbox, TB won't send it (again).
However, I tracked the messages sent to this list and its headers
state that message has been received by gmail only yesterday, so it
doesn't look like gmail is mucking up. Any parties after gmail, like
the list server aren't misbehaving either.
So it really looks like the faulty behaviour is on your system.

Have you got any messages left in your outbox? Does your log mention
anything about sending a message to this list? If not then you should
figure out what other software you're using the interferes with your
mail transport. Especially with it's acting like a (transparent) proxy
server. The most likely culprit would be your virus scanner.
Did you changed your preferred virus scanner somewhere arounf July
last year? And did you change it back recently?

I'm just thinking aloud, not putting any blame...
