ND> Not a good thing? Listing the people you copy a message to in the

So you think it's common to have the CC list twice? My point is, if
people want to see it, I would think they would look at the CC list
that exists rather than expect a duplicate list to appear somewhere
else in the message, that's all.

In short, I'm not a fan of adding features to a product to protect
idiots from themselves, and that's exactly what this is. The CC list
ALREADY exists in the header of the email, and if a user is too stupid
to look in the header, well, I don't know what to say. Perhaps a line
that says "this email has been sent to more people than just you.
Check the headers for info." Then you might need to show them once or
twice how to do that, but then they will eventually learn to do it
themselves.

T>> Not only that, but the whole reason BCC exists is so that the
T>> recipients *don't* know who's on the list.

ND> Agreed. But I never mentioned BCC being listed so I don't understand
ND> where this remark comes from.

It comes from the same place my first one came from; there's not a lot
of need to waste even more internet bandwidth because people lack the
responsibility to learn the tools that they have.

I'm surprised the most that the anti-bloat warriors aren't all over
this. I mean, this is a feature that not only isn't useful to most of
the people here, but is duplicating functionality that already exists
(aka looking in the headers).
