Yes. For each signed S/MIME message that you send using TB!. The S/MIME
public key is sent with it, making the message an extra 3K's larger. An
extra size that would cumulatively waste significant bandwidth when
used on the list.

OE has an option to not include the public key in signed messages, thus
making S/MIME signing less wasteful.
