I also get this error fairly often when deleting messages from a
folder that has threading by reference. It doesn't happen when
threading is by subject.
IMHO, this problem suggests improvements in two areas:
- The problem itself should be fixed when RIT Labs is able to address
it.
- There should be better error recovery so that it is not necessary to
exit and restart TB when such an error occurs. After the error, you
should be able to (re-)click on a folder and have it reopened.
